Responsibilities
- Facilitate clear and accurate communication between parties in different languages, especially in Medical, Legal, and other specialized fields.
- Interpret spoken language in real-time (consecutive or simultaneous) while maintaining accuracy, tone, and intent.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards, particularly when handling sensitive information.
- Research and understand industry-specific terminology to ensure precise and professional interpretation.
- Remain impartial and professional at all times, ensuring unbiased and culturally appropriate communication between all parties.
Must Have
- Operating System: Windows, macOS, or Linux
- Processor: Intel Core i3 (7th Generation or higher) or equivalent
- Display: Minimum HD (720p) resolution or higher
- Webcam: Minimum 720p resolution (brand and model must be specified)
- Backdrop: Clean, plain white background
- Lighting: Adequate front-facing lighting (e.g., ring light or desk lamp) for clear visibility
- Your setup must support clear video and a professional appearance during calls
- Poor lighting or unclear video may affect your application status
Nice to have
- High-quality external webcam (1080p or higher) for better video clarity
- Noise-canceling headset or microphone for improved audio quality
- Stable and high-speed internet connection (preferably wired) for uninterrupted calls
- Backup device (laptop or desktop) in case of technical issues
- UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) to prevent interruptions during power outages
- Professional workspace setup to ensure a quiet and distraction-free environment
- Updated software and tools to support smooth communication and performance
